Katie Hardy & Paul Shepherd

Shepherd Interiors was founded in 1993 by brothers Rod and Paul Shepherd. Both were experienced interior fitters and wanted to provide first-class, innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Initial clients included banks and butchers until offices became the regular form of customer.

In 2000, the brothers expanded the business further to include design and furnishings. Since then Shepherd Interiors has provided the complete commercial interiors package, from concept to completion.

Armstrong Omega Accreditation Programme

Armstrong World Industries, a leading provider of suspended ceilings, launched the Omega accreditation programme to develop close partnerships with approved specialist interior contractors.

The principle aim of the new programme is to achieve a consistently high standard of installation of Armstrong ceilings. It will also promote common values of quality of service and professionalism, and an interest in innovation.

In order to gain accreditation under the Omega programme, contractors must follow specific guidelines set by Armstrong when working with the company's ceilings.

They must also have at least three years' experience in installing suspended ceilings; demonstrate a commitment to health and safety standards; and hold appropriate liability insurance, as well as a CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) card and a CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) certificate.

In addition, Omega contractors must agree to submit projects in progress to be vetted.

The Omega programme forms part of Armstrong's ongoing commitment to excellence.
